Gingerbread Tradition

For the last 3 years, we have built some kind of gingerbread "thing" to display at Christmas dinner.  Our first year was a house, last year was a tree and this year was a train!  Take a look at the amazing job the boys did decorating it!

Halloween is coming......

I put the finishing touches on the boys Halloween costumes yesterday and I'm getting really excited for the day to be here!!  Scrapable is getting ready for Halloweeen too!  There are tons of great Halloween hybrids and kits!  The ScrapaBOO event is just around the corner too!  It's going to be tons of fun, so be sure to check it out!

Secret Agent Ren!!

Ren has been obsessed with spies, missions, secret agents and anything else spy related since seeing the Cars 2 movie, as well as the Backyardigans Super Secret Agent episode!  Miss Mis Designs has created the perfect kit to scrap anything spy related - detected!  Here's the LO I made using her kit for the List It Up Challenge at Scrapable:

Fun stuff!

I've got three new LOs to show off today!  First up is my September collage - actually done in a reasonable amount of time after the month is finished!  I used Scrap-a-holic Designs amazing 2012 Calendar Templates!  They are fabulous and a great Christmas gift idea!  You can get the templates here!

Next up is a journaling LO!  It captures some memories I want to remember when my kids are all grown up!  I'm very proud of this kit because I was able to do some massive clustering - something I struggle with and feel I'm unable to do on a regular basis.  I used Designer Girl Scraps, another wonderful new designer at Scrapable, Colour Pop kit.  The preview is under my LO and linked up to the store.

And last, but definitely not least, is a great Halloween kit!!  It's from Teresa Digi Designs and was just perfect for scrapping some pics from a few Halloween's ago!  It's called Trick or Treat and is adorable!  You can grab it here!

Isn't it so adorable!??!  I know I'll be using it for more than just Halloween - those little hero ellies will be calling my name as I scrap the boys and all their super hero play!

What a busy month!!

It's been crazy busy around here, both online and off!!  I'm so excited for October and Halloween to get here!!  I've always enjoyed Halloween, but I find I'm getting into the spirit of things a little more every year, especially as the boys get older!  We started doing themes the year Quin was born.  First it was super heroes, then it was zoo animals!  I'm so excited for this year - it's going to be good!! 

The end of September in looming, two more great kits have been released and there's an AWESOME collab kit coming out Oct 1!  It's called Spookable, but more on that in a bit.  This first kit is gorgeous and Enchanting by Teresa Digi Designs.  Here's my LO:

Next up is Smell of Oranges by ViolaMoni!  I love the colour scheme - orange is one of my favourite colours, as my oldest can attest to! 

Apple Picking Adventures

We actually made it the orchard this year "on time".  There've been some times in the past that we've missed out on picking because we waited too long to go!  We had such a great time and so did the boys!!

Both LOs were made with Modern June Designs' Apple of My Eye and I used template 1 for both as well from Miss Mis Designs' Tidy Templates Vol. 1 pack.

New E Designz has an adorable birthday kit releasing today.  It's called Birthday Yum!  The colours are great for girl and boy birthday LOs and there are tons of great elements to use!  I did a LO of Landon's birthday cake pics from his 1st birthday!

Rain, rain, go AWAY!

I don't know about you, but it is a grey and dreary day here!  It started off with a few big bangs, lot of lightning and tons of rain!!  Blue Heart Scraps has the perfect coming out today - Sunshine & Rain.  It's actually a bundle kit and comes with tons of ellies, papers and alphas!
